Hi Michael,

I just wanted to note, that in general you could also use the alpha and beta
releases <http://getfirebug.com/releases/firebug/1.9/> of Firebug without
worries. We have a lot of unit
tests<http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/FBTest>,
that guarantee, that existing features are not broken in a new release. Just
in the case there's no automated test yet for some part of Firebug it could
be, that a feature is broken when there were changes to it. Also using that
versions you can help us with finding these uncovered errors.
Also I want to mention, that we have a page called I found a Firebug
bug!<http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/I_found_a_Firebug_Bug%21>for such
cases, which helps you to either solve the problem by yourself or
to create a proper test case.

Greetings from Regensburg

Sebastian
