Here is what I tried: 1) Load http://getfirebug.com/tests/content/branches/1.9/net/601/issue601.html 2) Open Firebug select the HTML panel 3) Hover mouse over elements in the HTML panel 4) Elements should be selected on the page This seems to be working for me.
