Good idea. I think it would already help, if rules could be disabled/enabled completely (affecting all styles of the rule). Currently it's just possible to toggle single styles. I guess there's no such enhancement request yet, so please create an issue<http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/entry?template=User%20enhancement%20request>for that including a detailed description how you imagine it and add a test case <http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/Creating_a_Test_Case> for it.
