Using Firefox 9.01 (standard Ubuntu 11.10 Version), installed Firebug
from Firefox, and whenever I click on any link for launchpad, Firefox
instantly crashes, and prompts me to tell Mozilla about the crash.
I've determined that it won't crash if I disable the firebug plugin
and restart Firefox. This is not a very pleasant workaround, though,
and definitely makes me not want to report bugs. If this is an issue
only with the Ubuntu version, I can uninstall it, and install it from
the Mozilla site, but I don't want to waste time doing that if there's
no reason to.

Is there a way to disable Firebug for a specific URL, without going to
that URL? I know I can once I'm at the site, but that won't work for
me.
