pdebruicin the console when I do an XHR Get request there is a time shown
at the end of the URL. What does that time represent?15:23pdebruicFiirebug
1.9.1 in firefox 10.0.2 64bit on ubuntu 11.1015:25EgbertPyrowickresponse
time?15:27pdebruicok. but it if I load the same content into a div using
jQuery and time it using console.time("foo") the numbers reported to the
console from console time stay pretty much constant and the times reported
by firebug steadily increase15:29EgbertPyrowicknot sure what you're seeing
then15:29EgbertPyrowickbear in mind I've been waiting here more than 24
hours and nobody else has said a damn thing, so don't hold out hope of
anyone else helping15:30pdebruice.g. I have a link that when clicked loads
the same content into the DOM, wiping out the old version of itself. The
first time I click it firebug says it takes 38ms or whatever. The 10th time
I click it Firebug says it takes 138ms. console.time reports that it takes
about 22ms every time. byt the 40th time the response time (allegedly) is
399ms for firebug and still around 30ms for console.timeIS15:30
EgbertPyrowicknot sure what you're seeing then15:30pdebruicok thanks15:30
