AFAIK this is still not possible. See an older thread<https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#%21topic/firebug/CvGQIRKnN54>about this. You may want to create a new issue<http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/entry?template=User%20enhancement%20request>for this, though note that the development of Firebug Lite is currently on hold because the team doesn't have resources for it at the moment.
