It seems that with the update to Firebug 1.10 the computed style panel has been completely changed now just to show the accumulated styles very similar to how IE does the "Trace Styles" panel. However, this now means that there is no panel that shows the computed style!! For example, if I want to find out what the exact line height or width is for an element then I'm stuck if the element doesn't have a CSS attribute to set the value I'm interested in. The only way to access the true computed style now is to turn on the Quick Info pane which is very annoying to use since it only shows top left in the window and only when the mouse is over the element - you cant persist the information on screen to view the computed style in detail.
This is a big backwards step to remove the computed styles. Why did this new accumulated styles view replace the original computed styles? Can we have the computed styles panel back as a new panel? In fact, the new view should probably be a different view option onto the Styles panel as the list of accumulated styles actually has less to do with the true computed style that it now replaces. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Firebug" group.
