Alright gentlemen. This is getting out of hand. I keep getting very random system crashes the past months and I have been baffled as to what has been the cause. However, everytime when I force reboot, I notice that the Firebug plugin has been updated (as the tab opens when I launch Firefox). The past few times this happened, I thought that it must be something else but this time I can definitely confirm that this is the issue.
Here is my system: OSX 10.6.8 (very latest update of snow leopard) Firefox 14.0.1 I will find a way to make it not auto update any more.
