I have the same problems since the last Firefox update. What i can say is that Firebug stops working when you reload an iFrame (Right click on the iFrame -> Reload).
The only fix I know is closing and restarting the Firebug-Tab. Hope that helps... everything works fine till Am Donnerstag, 6.
