According to the stackoverflow thread this is a test of all.js related to the JSON implementation of the browser. So it doesn't sound like it has something to do with Firebug.
@John: Please deactivate Firebug and check if the error is still thrown. If yes, it's unrelated to Firebug. If not, please give a URL and steps to reproduce your problem.
