Could you check Firefox Error Console? Do you see any suspicious errors? Could you also check FBTrace (Firebug logging Console)
Install from here: https://getfirebug.com/releases/fbtrace/1.10/fbTrace-1.10.0.xpi Open from Firebug (icon) menu: "Open Firebug Tracing" Check ERRORS option (in the Options tab) and repeat your test. Do you see any errors?
