Actually I had this problem as well and as per usual could find no assistance for it. You needed to google the issue. Another user had the problem and explained how to fix it. I finally got it fixed once and for all, but each time that firefox upgraded it broke something with firebug and I would have to go about trying to find out how to fix it.
