Sebastian,

The element itself is inside the renered view of the browser (though i open the 
context menu by right click on it). The problem I see is, that the elements' 
representation inside the html-tree is not scrolled into view (html tab). 

Yes i click on inspect element of firebug, not of the native dev tools.
