AFAIK there's no existing Firebug extension<https://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/Firebug_Extensions>you could use. Though what you could use for your purpose is the TreeWalker API<https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/DOM/treeWalker>and innerHTML <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/DOM/element.innerHTML>or outerHTML <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/DOM/element.outerHTML>.
