There is  Firebug extension that allows to export console content:

It doesn't support sync export, only async, but it could be relatively easy 
to
add that feature.

Here is the place where a Console listener is called (synchronously) when a 
log in the Console panels happens and where a packet is send to a server 
side (asynchronously).

There could be another logic/feature (hidden behind a new preference by 
default I guess) saving the log also into a locale file ...
