Senario: I right-click a tag and choose Edit HTML... from the context menu. This accesses the HTML Edit<https://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/HTML_Panel#Edit>feature of Firebug. I then proceed to tweak the markup in the editor. I now wish to exit the Editor and commit the changes with a keyboard shortcut, which is the equivalent of clicking the [Edit] button above the editor current "pressed-in".
I'd like to know if there already is a keyboard shortcut to perform this action, and what that shortcut is. Example of what does not work: pressing the Escape key will terminate the editor session and revert any changes made in the editor. This would be helpful for trial of changes, then disposing of them afterwards. (Edits made in HTML Editor are live and the page in the browser reflects changes in real-time.) I'm essentially just looking for the "positive compliment" to the Escape key where the edit session is terminated, but my changes remain intact. I hope I explained this clearly enough. Thanks for any and all help with this! If such a shortcut is identified, this information really ought to be added to the Firebug wiki (linked earlier in this post) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Firebug" group.
