Several older browsers including IE7 // IE8 does not accept RGBA as a
background color. Which it then invalidated the entire line, I understand
the keeping up with trends but as a web developer this switch as called a
lot of extra work for our shop. We make sure that we cross browser
currently supported browsers and as much as I would like to get rid IE7 its
still around. I think it was the last update to firebug but now it
defaults to rgba(0, 0, 0, 0) when reading background. Even with the
"style" drop down set as HEX it still replaces the word transparent with
rgba.

Can you please provide a setting to turn off the rgba for this and leave it
as transparent. Its really frustring when you can copy all of your stying
right from firebug and then have to do a find and replace to fix all the
converted transparent to rgba.
