Hi Tom, Firebug.Inspector.onInspecting is binded to a mousemove event on the fbframe created during inspection. It takes the event as parameter and determines the element its currently on using 'Firebug.browser.getElementFromPoint' https://github.com/firebug/firebug-lite/blob/13ea59595e18dec10cdbd783d2b82a58efbaeb6f/content/firebug1.4/inspector.js#L100
