About your first point, you can read in that link that it's due to a bug in Firefox itself, you have to wait for the next Firefox.
I also have lots of troubles sometimes with the breakpoints, it's painful trying to debug something when the debugger doesn't work as expected. The third point is just a feature that you can find also in the other dev. tools. Besides the main "Console" tab, there's a button at its left that allows to always show the Console under every tab.
