I don't have a great repeatable link for this, but since I upgraded last week, I have now seen several examples where chrome is catching a javascript bug and firebug just kind of stalls with no error in the console. It's also slower, so I am switching to chrome's debugger for the moment (which I don't like nearly as much!). I am using JQuery 1.4.2, Spine.js and several other plugins on a Rails app.
