I'm having the interesting experience right now of running two different
versions of Firefox/Firebug simultaneously, using the MultiFirefox app
(which is Mac-only, I believe). I'm running FF28 with Firebug 1.12.8, and
FF 32.0.3 with Firebug 2.0.4. Running them side-by-side like this, it's
easy to compare the two.

The very first difference I noticed in the two Firebugs was the syntax
coloring. A nice feature... in theory. Unfortunately, in the Script panel,
it makes the gray text (for my extensive code comments) *very* hard to read
on my main monitor, and *impossible* to read on the old auxiliary monitor
where I keep my Firebug window. I suppose this is consistent with the
current fashion for light-gray text on websites (and elsewhere) but it's a
brain-dead fashion idea that I despise.

Is the syntax coloring customizable in some way? Or, if that's not
possible, can I turn it off entirely? I can't seem to find those options;
all I see is the option to make the text bigger, which doesn't help.

On the positive side, I can finally close the right-side
Watch/Stack/Breakpoints panel while I'm looking at the Script on the left
side, if I choose. That's nice.
