What specific features are missing?

The possibility to add and edit cookies, as mentioned already.

Why the storage pane is not good enough?

The columns separators are distracting, the column width is not adjustable (although the cursor indicates so) and content is jumping to the right if navigated. But I guess those are known problems to be fixed in the final...
