Firebug 2.0.7 introduced <https://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/detail?id=7679> the preference extensions.firebug.enableSyntaxHighlighting <https://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/Firebug_Preferences> to allow to turn the syntax highlighting off.
