Perhaps this would be better resolved if the developers were to set up their
own test cases using the issues described by many many people as a guide to
follow.
As a developer myself, I am rarely presented with a ‘problem on a plate’ all
packaged up nicely so i can just get to work. 99% of the time, I have to go
find the problem, figure out how to reproduce it in a stable repeatable manner,
and then start to work on the fix. I realise this does take time, but sometimes
it is the ONLY way to find a solution to a problem.

With FireBug being so vastly important to 99% of the world wide developers I am
truly surprised that there is not more finance and action behind this project,
as that would make this app truly come alive.

Whilst I can sympathise with the dev’s in regards to wanting the issues
presented in the most beautiful manner complete with repeatable steps and a
live test case - I just don’t see how this is effective bug squashing if the
dev’s aren’t willing to go and investigate and at least attempt to reproduce
the issue themselves.

Regards,
JP
