Sounds like you are talking about Firebug Lite. Note that Firebug Lite is 
not maintained anymore and should be avoided. Instead use the Chrome 
DevTools or the Firefox DevTools to remote debug Chrome 
<https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Remote_Debugging>.
