I 'm experiencing a minor problem with the current versions of Firefox + Firebug on my Mac. Normally, I have a separate Firebug console window open on the second monitor, and when it's active the little firebug icon at the bottom of the main Firefox window is lit-up orange. Recently, however, it lights up at first (when I first open Firebug) but as soon as I reload the window, the bug icon goes gray/dead. Firebug is still working normally, and all panels are active; it's just the icon that looks dead.
If I click the bug icon's down-arrowhead, and choose "Enable All Panels", the icon lights up again -- but the next time I reload the window, it goes gray again. This doesn't happen if I keep the console attached to the bottom of the main window -- then the icon behaves normally. It also doesn't happen on Windows 7 at all, just on my Mac. (I do have more Firefox extensions running on my Mac.) I tried disabling a few extensions that I've added in the past few weeks and relaunching, but that made no difference. This obviously isn't an important problem, just cosmetic (since I can see that the separate Firebug window is obviously on and behaving normally). It is slightly disconcerting however, so I just thought I'd mention it in case there's an easy fix. BTW, does the Firebug devel team test new builds in Mac Firefox, or only in the Win and/or Linux versions? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Firebug" group.
