I have an app with pretty complex login system, involving matching up of hashes done on the client and server. The login piece of it has worked without problems or substantive changes for years.
However, since Firebug 2.0.12 installed itself, I can't log in with Firebug showing. Close it, reload the page, then log in, I'm good. Open it again, reload the page, the app says my login is invalid again. Quite repeatable. I'm super confused. I would never have thought that Firebug would interfere with any sort of processing on the page. I'm aware that this is a crap bug report, lacking any actionable details or repeatable steps. As I said, it's a complex and somewhat obfuscated system, with both client js and server-side (ColdFusion) components, so sending you the whole thing isn't super practical, though I will do that if I can't break it down any further and you're open to taking a look. I'll try to come up with a simplified demo, but in the mean time, has anyone heard of any such thing? Seen any weirdness in page processing with 2.0.12?
