Yeah, bug fixes still take at least six weeks to get fixed, which is really cumbersome. Though, I think to remember that there was an initiative to allow parts of Firefox to be updated in the future. So, the DevTools might be updated independently from the rest of Firefox at some point. Having said that, regressions like this one are normally caught before they reach a stable release due to users testing on Beta, DevEdition and Nightly.
