Hi Arthur,

Firebug is discontinued. You got automatically switched over to the Firefox 
DevTools. See 
https://hacks.mozilla.org/2016/12/firebug-lives-on-in-firefox-devtools/ for 
more info.
Regarding the issue related to picking elements, I've filed bug 1324254 
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1324254>. If inspecting an 
element doesn't work for you at all, please file a new bug and paste the 
link to it here as back reference.
