However, many short off-topic emails quickly become a problem. We've
recently had many discussions about OT posts and many have expressed a
desire to abandon the list in favor of another with more moderation.
There are forums for jobs and there are forums for firewalls. This is the
latter.

"The Firewalls mailing list is for discussions of Internet firewall
security systems and related issues. Relevant topics include the design,
construction, operation, maintenance, and philosophy of Internet firewall
security systems."
Postings about jobs, especially jobs having nothing to do with firewalls
(IDS and computer security development), do not meet the "relevancy"
criteria.
