That's a misleading answer...
My external port scans after a 5.5 install always turn up 7777 as open,
although the firewall does not pass traffic on this port _through_ the
firewall. Port 7777 is used by the "GauntletAuthService" - I _believe_ that
it's mostly used by RPC to permit/deny access to proxies (ie the individual
proxies talk to this port).
You can put in a filter under "Packet Filters" to deny access to the port to
the outside world - just make sure localhost can still get to it. ;)
(There are very few packet filters defined in a default 5.5 NT install -
NetBIOS stuff gets screened out and that's mostly it from memory)
