Hi,

Anybody have any experience on SHIVA Lan Rover hacks? What common hacks are
there on it and any suggestions on how to stop them.

Is there anyway to connect only to the unit and then tunnel onto the
internal network?

We have the unit in a separate DMZ behind a Checkpoint Firewall 1 firewall.
Once a user connects using the Shiva Username & Password Authentication he
then has to log onto the firewall using the VPN remote software with its
respective usernames and passwords. After that he has to present his
ordinary NT passwords for what those are worth. My concern is that the Shiva
requests a DHCP address for the dialled in user, I assume the request is
handled by the firewall but I am also concerned that a user who has hacked
the Shiva Lan would be able to then find out the IP address of the internal
DHCP server.

Any suggestions or ideas?

Thanks

Mike
