While I am not well versed in the security aspects of this arrangement, I do
know how to set it up.
You are fairly close on your setup, but the DS and IS posts must be staticly
set on your Exchange server. Unless this has been changed, Exchange will
randomly determine which ports will be used.
Refer to Articles Q176466, Q148732, and Q155831 on the Microsoft Support
site for detailed information on how to set this up.
