Bjorn,
I was faced with this very same question and have found that NAI's Gauntlet
(WinNT and Solaris(yes, I know it supports BSDI, but the SQL*NET proxies
aren't supported on this platform), Axent's Raptor (WinNT and ?), and
Compaq's AltaVista Firewall 98 (WinNT and Digital Unix) support SQL*NET 2
proxies. I have used the evaluation versions of Gauntlet and AltaVista and
am probably going to end up recommending Gauntlet. Initially, I had planned
to use something like FWTK on Linux, but the SQL*NET requirement forced me
to look at the choices I listed earlier.
I hope this helps you in your search, Bjorn.
