I am looking for a product that will authenticate users going to the
internet. We are going to implement DHCP in the near future on either
Solaris or Novell and we need a way to authenticate people going to the
'net, preferably via the browser (i. e. Netscape and/or MS Explorer). We
have taken a quick look (white papers) at Border Manager 3.0 but it seems
fairly expensive and offers a great deal more than what we need. I also
have researched WebSense but this too is over-kill. We have a CyberGuard
firewall that supports WebTrack (i. e. SmartFilter). CyberGuard will
support authentication, but I have been informed that performance will
suffer tremendously if we authenticate at that point. Any info would be
greatly [EMAIL PROTECTED]
