This is a very good point, and while my concurrence probably doesn't belong
in this mailing list because it's perhaps off-topic, I just had to get my
two cents in. We have issues in programming these days where people have
told me "We don't trust our employees to punch in and out of their time
cards on time so that they don't get unauthorized overtime. Can you set up
the time card program to reject early punch-ins, as well as late
punch-outs?" My answer is always no. That's a personnel issue, not a
programming issue. Firewalls are the same way. They should not be expected
to know what content you want to let through, and what you don't. 

Dammit Jim, I'm a firewall, not a psychologist.
