it sounds as if you have an ethernet wirig problem. to connect two hubs
togeather you need a crossover cable or you need to plug into a port on
one of the hubs configured to crossover. to connect a computer to the hub
you need a normal cable and normal port. try switching cables and/or
moving the cable to a different port.
