hi,
IMHO linux does serving very well but lacks alot of the granularity of
its *BSD counterparts. So as usual it amounts to using the best of breed
for the problem you are trying to solve. having never written packet capture
routines i would be interested in resources for the writing of these routines?
IOW i am looking for real good hard copy that i can grab from my friendly
neighborhood bookstore to bring linux up to speed. it would be @ a crawl
though as i have never written this deep before. Anyone else have any web
resources that i might consider if (i|we) were to attempt to set a group up
to do just that??? + another reason why i would like to research it is so
that i can determine if i can realistically hope to contribute in that
area. Well enough said:)
                                                Regards,
                                                [EMAIL PROTECTED]
