This isn't quiet true.  PCanywhere uses UDP to do a quick check and then TCP for
the connection.  You can turn off the UDP with a registry entry, and just use
the TCP port only.  This means that the PCanywhere says that the connection
is okay but may give you a blank screen if the connection isn't really possible.

Details on this can be found on the Symantec web site in the technical database.

As well, I'm not really sure if the registry entry turns off the UDP probe or
just ignores the result so you may still see UDP packets sent.
