To establish my prejudices/mind-set (not to continue this
thread but to introduce my own): my background is unix among other
older mini-computer OSs, that said:
Most of the (current) issues with NT, revolve around the
out-of-the-box setup sucking (as far as security is concerned), and
finding what needs to be plugged/screwed down is non-intuitive.
Which brings me to my query. I'm investigating securing a NT
http bastion in a perimeter. I've found:

which seem fairly complete. I also have a few reference books
on NT but, along the lines of the above knowing what to look for is key
to finding it....
Anyone have other resources/references/experiences-to-share on
this topic.
