There is nothing on this site to disappoint me as someone who chooses to
work with FW1. Every firewall and security architecture has weaknesses,
and the largest of them all is the people. If one bothers to become
educated on the product and makes an honest effort at it rather than
some half-baked "we have a firewall, now we're secure" slipshod approad,
the results will speak for themselves.
For the business model I have to support, Firewall-1 has been the best
choice. With many hours of work and effort it has also been a secure
choice.
The folks at diligence had the liberty of placing a box behind a
firewall that was basically left wide open for their test case. Big
deal.
