VTCP is Virtual Transmission Control Protocol and is another nickname for
VPN so
it stands to reason that the "D" at the end may just mean the daemon or
service.
As well with most VPN software the other side of the connection can act
like a node on the local
segment so it could conceivably have something to do with that as well.
May be just another entry in the heaping stack of indstry acronyms?
