Hi All,
Yet another post to the masses.
I currently have a 32 Address class C subnet, which I need to extend to 64
addresses.
The problem being, I have a web server in our DMZ which I need to have
access to a DB on our internal LAN.
The internal LAN is masqueraded behind a Linux host, and I cannot figure a
way for the Web server to easily access the internal database.
It will require a bit of work to shift to 64 addresses, as our ISP will have
to allocate a different subnet to us.
Are there any other options available to me ?
Am I correct in my assumption that I cannot have my web server (with valid
IP) talk to a host on our Internal LAN that has a private IP ?
Thanks,
Greg.
