I would like to hear comments about the product mentioned in the Subject from people who have actually used/evaluated it. What is your appraisal of it as a perimeter firewall? Are you confident in the product from a security standpoint? Do the logs and/or GUI tell you what you need to know? How many users do you have using it, and what is the performance like under peak loads? Do you find it easy to manage, or is the GUI a handicap? If you are using the VPN features, does this present a challenge for your remote users to get logged in, or do they have no trouble? Does the client software pose any problems or incompatibilities with other applications? If you have compared it against other firewall packages, what features of LMF were the deciding factors? I am also looking at getting Raptor for Solaris in for evaluation, and I am especially interested in hearing from people who have worked with both products, or chose one over the other. Thanks for your time and input. --- UNIX Team - The difference between theory and practice is often greater in practice than in theory. - [To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe firewalls" in the body of the message.]
