I have put together an all-on-one-diskette (superformatted 1722) Linux
2.2.10 firewall/router with the 'ip' and 'ipchains' tools (and even a dhcp
client!), as well as a ssl-telnetd for encrypted access. I am thinking of
making it public, if anyone is interested (but writing documentation and
stuff is far less enjoying than trying to make things work ;-). It is now
running "in production" configured with policy routing (based on source
address), NAT (one-to-one address), masquerading (NAT many-to-one address,
dhcp is used to get the external address here) and packet filtering on
input.
