Jerry;
I saw your posting and went down to support immediately to see what
the story was.... I could not find where you had contacted anyone in support
regarding this problem that you have been having for the past 2 weeks.
Problem sounds serious, but they can't help you if you don't call and let
them know what your problem is.

Subject: Firewall loses directory
We have a CyberGuard firewall running release 4.0 on UnixWare...twice in
past
two weeks we have lost directory /var/audit for some mysterious reason. This
directory is for the firewall logs. The machine will boot, but because of
the
absence of this directory it will not function. Has anyone experienced or is
currently experiencing this problem. What are the situation that a directory
could disappear. Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks in
advance...Jerry
