If you use a Firewall which supports CVP (Content Vectoring Protocol), then
you can use one of the many CVP Anti-Virus products by people like
E-Safe, Content Technologies (MIMEsweeper) Etc.
It doesn't matter what platform the Firewall is on - Solaris or NT. However,
the vast majority of the CVP AV products are NT only; you'll have a very
limited choice if you want to run the AV product on Solaris.
