Rosario & Jen,

I use Trend Micro's VirusWall on Solaris 2.6 and am very happy with the
product. I am currently not using the CVP server so I cannot say how
well that works but the SMTP server pipes all incoming mail to our
internal mail server and scans as the attachments come through.
VirusWall sends an email stating what action was taken (cleaned or
moved) everytime a virus is found - quite nice. I do not scan outgoing
mail since we have virus scanners also installed on our internal PCs and
mail server. Pattern files are updated once a week and you can setup
VirusWall to retrieve the newest pattern file automatically -
configuration through a web interface. During the latest round of virus
scares I even receive email sent to me informing me that the pattern
files have been updated more often than the typical weekly update - nice
service. VirusWall also intergrates with proxy servers (I use Netscape
Proxy server for Solaris) to scan while web surfing - downside is that
the proxy must download the _entire_ file before the file can be scanned
and then the file is pushed to the client web brower.

Regards,

Neil
