I have been asked to provide a list of pros and cons for both systems, they are currently both in use here at my company, but we would like to standardized on one. Other than the obvious diferences between the two: Hardware vs. Software, what would be some key factors to lean a company to buy one over the other. Situation: Multiple office company nation wide. Each site with different Internet needs, some sites provide Help Desk support via the web, others do DB managemnet outsourceing via web. All have internal users using the web for any number of reasons. Also would like to segment our Internet Infrastructure apps out in DMZ (email dns web). Any input would be much appreciated. Mike A.
