There was a thread on here regarding outsourced security management like a month ago. Recently, I saw an article on ISS buying Netrix for their remote network security monitoring and outsourced security capability. With ISS, they will probably be providing more than firewall monitoring, but vulnerability and intrusion monitoring. Has anyone's company decided to go this route of outsourcing part of their security? What factors led you to the decision? How did you evaluate the provider?
